Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform the distillation of waste water with high efficiency by causing fewwall of moistened air from a still in a waste water tube from a clarification tank, connected to a solar energy-utilizing still.
CONSTITUTION: The waste water clarified in the clarification tank 3 is regulated its flow rate and then introduced through the finned metal waste water tube 8 into the solar energy still 7, where the waste water is evaporated by solar energy and the vapor is partly condensed on the inside surface of the glass roof 12 into the water droplets 19 which are, in turn, collected in the water collection tank 19 through the trough 13. On the other hand, most of the moistened air flows toward the ventilating tube 7 and contacts with the cold waste water-passing finned metal waste water tube 8, whereupon the moisture present is condensed on the surface of the waste water tube 8 into water droplets which are, in turn, collected in the water collection tank 9. Thus, solar energy-utilizing distillation of waste water can be performed with high efficiency.
