Abstract
PURPOSE: To heat and desorb the adsorbed moisture economically by dividing the interior of a adsorbing cylinder into more than one section along the direction of the air stream and providing an independent high frequency induction heating coil on each of the section.
CONSTITUTION: The undehydrated compressed air is dehumidified in a adsorbing cylinder A and the dehydrated air is flowed to a take-out pipe 4. In this time, a part of the dehydrated air is flowed to an adsorbing tower B to absorb the moisture in the adsorbing agent 2b of the tower B and discharged into atomosphere. Next, the pressure of the adsorbing tower A, B is once equalized and thereafter the tower B is switched to a adsorbing process and the tower is switched to a regenerating process. Then, the high fregency electric current is applied to the independent high frequency induction heating coil 3a1W3a3 in each section of the adsorbing tower A and especially, the adsorbing agent 2a of the last section of the tower A is turned to the highly dried condition. Thereafter, the adsorbing agent 2a is cooled by the regenerating air and, again, the switch of the tower A, B is carried out. By above process, the adsorption and the desorption is effectively carried out.
