Abstract

PURPOSE: To drain oil dropped from food and uniformly heat the bottom of the food as well as its other part, by using an air heater and a food rest which is placed on a turntable and has recessed and holes opened into them.
CONSTITUTION: The magnet-driven turntable 16 is installed at the bottom of a heating chamber 2. A food plate 30 is provided so that its peripheral part is in contact with the top 31 of that of a rotary tray 17. The recesses are provided on the central part of the food plate. The opening holes are opened into the recesses. When the oil drops from a chicken 8 in cooking, the oil is reserved in the tary 17 through the holes 32. Therefore, the heating chamber is protected from being contaminated by the oil. A separate chamber 24 is defined by bent sheet 23 outside the heating chamber. A heater 25 and a fan 26 are provided in the chamber 24 to supply hot air into the heating chamber to heat the side face of the food. The food is thus uniformly cooked.
