Abstract
PURPOSE:To narrower the transmission band and to enable reliable transmission and reception of signal, by transmitting the signal in two phase difference phase modulation from the transmission side and discriminating signal in phase comparison by the time of one modulation element at reception side. CONSTITUTION:To the switching of the contact of transmitter, transmission carrier is shifted for the different phase per one second corresponding to a given logic 0, 1, and the signal of phase modulation pulse code train is delivered on the line. The phase modulation signal from this transmitter is demodulated with the output of the clock oscillation circuit 15 at the demodulation circuit 12 and it is fed via LPF 13 to the phase discrimination circuit 16, demodulation carrier reproduction circuit 14 and timing reproduction circuit 17. The circuit 14 makes self running of the frequency of circuit 15 even if the demodulated signal is tentatively interrupted, and the carrier signal being the reference of the phase discrimination is delivered to the circuit 16 with a given period and phase, and the circuit 17 produces the timing signal at section point of one modulation element and signal is discriminated with phase comparison for the time of one modulation element.
