Abstract

PURPOSE: To stabilize high voltage power source and reduce the fluctuations of copying performance by grounding the other end of a high-voltage coil connected to the discharger of the copying machine by way of a current detecting resistor and feeding only the half wave of alternating currents back to a control circuit.
CONSTITUTION: One end of the high-voltage coil 8 of an AC high-voltage transformer is connected to a discharger 9 and the other end of the high-voltage coil is grounding by way of a current detecting resistance 11 and is held connected to a control circuit 15 by way of a diode 12, capacitor 13, voltage dividing variable resistance 14. High-voltage current i0 is half-wave rectified by the diode 12 and capacitor 13 and become the signal es which is then applied to the control circuit 15, whereby constant current controlling is accomplished. Since this is half-wave rectifying, there is no more effect by the asymmetry of positive and negative waves and the high-voltage power source is stably controlled. Hence, the need for any surplus circuit for the purpose of stabilization is eliminated and the fluctuations on copying performance may be suppressed.
