Abstract

PURPOSE:For highly sensitive concentration measurement for a material, a gas containing a material to be tested is introduced into a rotating container internally coated with color-developing reagent layer, and the reacted, color-developed material is measured by photometry. CONSTITUTION:While rotating the cylinder a, a color developing reagent (e.g. aqueous solution of N-(1-naphthyl)-ethylene diamine hydrochloric acid salt and sulphanyl amide) is injected from the top and formed into a uniform liquid layer f by centrifugal force of rotating cylinder a. The liquid layer f is projected by the light sources g1, g2 and the transmitted light is reflected several times by the external surface h1-h3, then detected by the light receiver i.
