Abstract

PURPOSE: To automatize higher speed and precision operation of reading by recognizing it electronically by a generated zero voltage that an index has come just beneath the index detecting part when the index passes on the scale plate with specified scales.
CONSTITUTION: An index detecting part 1 is made of an optical fiber composed of one luminous element 3 and two photodetectors and reading is carried out by means of an automatic reader of data. The detected wave form obtained from an index detecting part 1 by the move of the index 4 is converted into a deviation voltage by the bridge circuit and then connected with an amplification circuit. Then in the switch circuit and the comparison circuit, when the rise voltage level +E1 or the fall voltage level -E2 is set by the operation of one switch S2 and the signal exceeds that voltage, the zero level is detected by the operation of the other switch S1 and treated by obtaining the data the instant that the zero point 2 is crossed. In this way reading is automatized and correct measurement can be carried out at a high speed.
