Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent earth and sand from being frozen through a heating wall, by providing box-shaped heaters around a tank so that the width of each heater extends in the radial direction of the tank and is smaller than the height and length of the heater and by causing a heat medium to flow through the heaters. CONSTITUTION:Box-shaped heaters 9, each of which has a width X smaller than the height Z and length Y and has a heat medium inlet port 10 on one side in the direction of the length Y and a heat medium outlet port 11 on the other side, are provided around a tank so that the neighboring heaters are overlapped with each other and the width X of each heater extends in the radial direction of the tank. A heat medium is caused to flow through the box-shaped heaters 9 to transfer heat from the medium to earth and sand to prevent them from being frozen. Since the heaters are box-shaped and have an enough length in the circumferential direction of the tank, it is less possible that the earth and sand x are frozen through a heating wall. The number of the heaters can be decreased. This results in reducing the cost of facilities.
