Abstract
PURPOSE:To restrict vibration, to enable no-load starting, and to enable constantly stable operation by ensuring that the damping action of a liquid slowly absorbs variations in slewing radius arising from variations in the torque of a slewing scroll. CONSTITUTION:During the period from starting to steady revolution, the contrifugal force generated in a slewing scrool 3 and the oil pressure due to an eccentric hole 11 increase gradually, and a slider 10 gradually moves against the force of a compression spring 12 in such a direction that the slewing radius delta increases. The radius delta becomes equal to delta0 when a steady revolution rate is reached. This causes laps 1b and 3b to contact each other, resulting in normal compression. During operation at the steady revolution rate, since a chamber 9b of a slider groove 9 is full of pressure oil, the damping action of the oil blocks the displacement of the slider 10, restricts vibration, and ensures stable operation.
