Abstract
PURPOSE: To control EGR capacity by variably controlling an opening area for inducing EGR gas and to plan to improve mixing by increasing an inducing speed of the EGR gas into a suction system.
CONSTITUTION: An EGR outlet port control valve 3 includes a fixed ring memeber 4 and a sliding ring memeber 5 and a plurality of EGR gas inducting ports 4A, 5A are formed raidally on both of the rings 4, 5 respectively. Communication between both of the inducing ports 4A, 5A may be varied between full and partial communicating conditions by rotation of the sliding ring member 5. The EGR gas is flown so as to be circulated around an inlet gas passage 6 when it is induced into an annular space 8, therefore, flowing speed of it may be maintained at high.
