Abstract
PURPOSE:To decide the target distance singularly as well as to increase the clutter suppression properties by securing the distance correlation process at the reception time for the low wave angle beam of the electronic scanning array altitude radar by transmitting the two sets of the minor repetition cycle pulses with switching. CONSTITUTION:The low wave angle beam transmits alternately and in switching the pulses of two types of minor repetition cycles 1/T1' and 1/T1'' which cover the short distance rather than the maximum necessary coverage region. Accordingly, the pulse repetition frequency increases to enhance the clutter suppression properties for the moving target indicator filter, and therefore the clutter occurring with the low wave angle due to the ground, the sea level and the like can be suppressed.
