Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a ship of an arbitrary scale and to make the shipbuilding and overhaul easy by connecting a multiplicity of boxes of relatively small size by means of couplings.
CONSTITUTION: Each box 1aW1h is watertightly formed with steel plate of proper thickness, and its coupled face is step-shaped. To connect the boxes, the projected step 12 of one box 1' is put on the support step 11 of another box 1, the bolt 14 is penetrated to tighten both the boxes on adjusting the bolting hole 13. In this way, many boxes can be connected to obtain a hull of a desired size and shape. Assembling can be carried out in any place regardless of that on the land and water, and its overhaul is easily performed.
