Abstract
PURPOSE:To inform users of expiration only when tge users want to make sure the expiration of a battery without exerting influence upon the display of time, by generating the informing sounds of the expiration of the battery when switching an alarm set switch OFF from ON. CONSTITUTION:When set time is up under a condition that an alarm set switch 20 is made, intermittent sounds in 1Hz manufactured by synthesizing 22 the output of a frequency divider 4 are generated from a speaker 34. When the voltage of a battery 54 beforehand drops, an AND gate 38 is under an opening condition by the output of a flip-flop 58. When the switch 20 is brought to an opening condition from a closing condition under this condition, a 4th incremental counter 42 counting signals in 4Hz puts out pulses after one second, the output of a flip-flop 46 is made to be a H level and signals in 2048Hz from the frequency divider 4 are generated 34 as the informing sounds of the expiration of the battery through an ANd gate 36.
