Abstract

For the purpose of allowing the advantageous production of a timer function, the wristwatch comprises oscillator and frequency divider means down to a minute (1, 2, 3), minute counter means (4) and hour counter means (5). It is also provided with minute count-down means and hour count-down means (14, 15) capable of being set to an arbitrarily specified value by set-up means (22). Means (6-12, 19-21) make it possible to choose either the indications of the time counting, or the indications of the counting down means, in order to control their appearance on display means (13). Moreover, means (16, 17, 23, 24) make it possible to sound an alarm when the count-down reaches the value zero. <IMAGE>
