Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable good transfer images to be obtained from the first sheet by beforehand rotating a photoreceptor and cleaning the same and at the same time putting a developing means in an operation state to keep the developer stirred thence forming electrostatic latent images. CONSTITUTION:This is the device of forming electrostatic images on a rotator 1 having a photoreceptor capable of carrying images, developing the images with a developing device 42 then transferring the images onto transfer paper 21 thereafter cleaning the surface of the rotator 1 with a cleaning device 18, wherein necessary preparation operations are done by rotating the rotator 1 prior to starting of copying process. Here, a microswitch is disposed on the rotator 1 and switching controlling is accomplished by this. Then, even if the original is inserted at the same instant when the rotator 1 starts rotating, the original is not fed into the machine, hence copying operation does not take place. After the developing means assumes an operation state and necessary prepartions operations are done, the normal copying operation is accomplished from the second rotation of the rotator.
