Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a concave and convex pattern plate which has an accurate concave and convex pattern and is useful for a packaging material by giving the concave and convex pattern with a pressing die to at least one face of a thermosetting resin foamed plate which has already been foamed. CONSTITUTION:To at least one face of a thermosetting resin foamed plate 1 which has already been foamed, a concave and convex pattern 2 is given with a pressing die. The concave and convex pattern may be given with the pressing die after laminating a coating layer 3 of aluminum foil, incombustible asbestos paper, board material paper, synthetic paper, thermoplastic resin film, etc., by adhering with adhesives including combustion proofing material on at least one face of said resin foamed plate 1. The coating layer 3 can also be formed by applying and hardening the slurry of water hardened material such as plaster, cement, etc., on the resin surface. The concave and convex pattern is usually given by cold forming, but in the case of the thermoplastic coating layer, the concave and convex pattern may be given after preheating or in the heated state.
