Abstract
PURPOSE: To discover the clogging of the nozzle at an early stage, and to dissolve the development of ill-balanced cooling pattern, by detecting the hydraulic pressure and the air pressure of the injector using the pressure gauge, and by detecting the clogging of the nozzle through the fact that above detected pressure difference is to exceed the specified value.
CONSTITUTION: The pressured cooling water 28 is sent from the water feed port 14 through the flow control valve 26, and the compressed air 32 is sent from the air feed port 16 and the small hole 20 through the constant flow device 30, respectively to the injection nozzle 18 of the duplex fluid injector 10, and are injected outward. In this case, the water pressure and air pressure are detected by the pressure signal generators 36, 38, being communicated respectively to the water feed port 14 and air feed port 16, within the control circuit; and then, the pressure signal is converted into the voltage signal and is inputted to the operator 40. Regarding the water pressure P1 and air pressure P2, the operator 40 operates the formula (P2-P1)/P2; and when the result of this operation exceeds the set point, the operator 40 sents a signal to the alarm 42. This operator 40 is set so as to produce the signal by judging the clogging of nozzle to an extent almost impossible to continue ordinary normal operation, when the value of formula exceeds 0.1, that is, the pressure difference exceeds 10% of the water pressure.
