Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide light-weight small-sized autoclaue of simple construction which is anticorrosive, workable for a prolonged period at a constant temperature and can rapidly be heated by combining an induction heating furnace with small- sized pressure vessel composed of anti-corrosive material. CONSTITUTION:An anti-corrosive small-sized pressure vessel 11 consists of a reaction chamber 1, a top type packing 2, a lid 3 and a stirring ball 4. A solution of experimental sample and the stirring ball 4 are placed in the reaction chamber 1 which is sealed by screwing. The small-sized pressure vessel 11 is placed in a copper coil 5. The temperature control is made by measuring the temperature of the high pressure reaction vessel perse. Induction heating employing commercial frequency is applied to the lid 3 and the iron part constituting the outer tube part of the reaction chamber 1, and at the same time heat is transferred to the inner reaction chamber.
