Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase the measurement accuracy without increasing the coefficient word length number as well as to extend the dynamic range by securing the vertical connection development of the complex modulation and the low-band pass digital filter and then giving the thinning of the sample value.
CONSTITUTION: The input digital signals sent from terminal 11 are supplied to multipliers 23 and 24 and then receive the complex modulation by the signals sent from terminals 25 and 26 to be supplied to the serial circuits of basic circuits 1a∼ Ma plus 1b∼Mb. The output of these serial circuits are multiplied by themselves at multipliers 18 and 19 and added together to be delivered. Then the complex modulation is given along with the vertical connection development given to the low-band pass filters of circuits 1a∼Ma plus 1b∼Mb, and furthermore the sample value thinning is given for the filter output. As a result, both the measurement accuracy and the dynamic range can be increased without increasing the coefficient word length number.
