Abstract

PURPOSE: To automatically correct the luminance signal change due to the change in the pick up image interval, with integration for a given time for the video signal obtained from the pick up tube when the pick up is requested and with the pedestal level control of video signal with this integrated signal.
CONSTITUTION: To the lamp drive circuit 7 of the pick up unit having the pick up tube 1, deflection coil 2, face plate 3, lens 4 and lamp 5 for residual image erase, the integration circuit 8 integrating the video signal obtained from the pick up tube 1 for a given period is connected when pick up requested is taken place. The output of the integration circuit 8 is held at the sample hold circuit 9 under the control of the control circuit 11 and the output of the circuit 9 is fed to the pedestal control signal to the clamp circuit 10. Further, the picture stored in the pick up tube 1 is read out and fed to the clamp circuit 10, then the pedestal level is controlled with the pedestal control signal to automatically correct the luminance signal change due to the change in the pick up interval.
