CONSTITUTION:A processed object 12 fixed on a processing table 9 is fed for processing as a result of the table 9 being travelled on levels X and Y by means of servo-motors 10 and 11. A wire electrode 3 is stretched between a lower stationary wire guide 2 and a reciprocating driving wire guide 5, the wire electrode 3 being wound from a reel 1 to a reel 4. Said guid 5 is situated at a rotary driving guide 7 so that a rotation trace will be drawn by means of a rotary driving motor 8 and a reciprocating driving motor 6, a required tapering being obtained at a ratio of a distance between the guides 2 and 5 and a distance between a Z-axis and the rotation trace. Can thus be performed 4-axis control, i.e., the simultaneous control of the motors 6 and 8 in addition to the control of the displacement in the directions X and Y of the object to be processed.
