Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure an economical service for the automatic answering telephone set by receiving and recording the telephone number of the originating subscriber via the number recording register not the main frame. CONSTITUTION:In case the incoming call is given to service subscriber 1 form other stations after subscriber 1 operated the recording device for his absence, the selected figures are received at incoming register trunk 7. Based on this reception result, the control unit identifies the incoming to the service subscriber to read out the corresponding subscriber memory. If the absence of the called subscriber is known through the reading, the idle number recording register 6 is selected to inform the originating subscriber the recording of the telephone number. Then the telephone number sent from the originating subscriber is recieved at PB receiver 7 and then transferred to the control unit to be recorded to memory device 13. This record contents is then read out when the absence register of subscriber 1 is released, thus facilitating easy knowing of subscriber 1.
