Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform cleaning well and maintain the characteristics of the reused toner constant by providing two blades for removing the toner remained in a photoreceptor and providing a lubricant coater on the intermediate thereof. CONSTITUTION:A cleaning unit 3 is mounted removably by a draw-out rail 2 to a photosensitive drum 1. The first, second blades 6, 9 are mounted respectively to the supports 5, 8 which are turnable about shafts 4, 7. The blades are so arranged as to turn in the same direction as that of the drum 1 by a solenoid 10 via wire 11. The first blade 6 is so strongly pressure-contacted as to clean the toner conforming to the developing capacity and the second plage 9 as to perform perfect cleaning. A lubricant coater 13 is provided at the intermediate of both to perform sufficient cleaning and prevent the formation of the toner film on the surface through lubricity of the photoreceptor surface, thereby enabling the characteristics of the reused toner to be maintained relatively constant.
