Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable the automation of insertion of windings and raise the efficiency of manufacture, of a core, by stratifying core segments on one another so that slots extend parallel with the axial direction of the core, inserting the windings into the slots and thereafter skewing the core.
CONSTITUTION: An prescribed number of steel sheets, which have T-shaped projections of their inner parts and recesses on thier outer parts, are stratified on one another so that a core is formed. The slots 5 of the core extend parallel with its axis and recesses 8 are provided on the outer part of the core. Windings 9 are inserted into the slots 5. The core is thereafter skewed by an annular tool 12 having oblique projections 11 on its inside or the like. Because the windings 9 are inserted before the skewing of the core slots 5, the insertion can be automated. Since the steel sheets are simply stratified on one another, the efficiency of work is raised.
