Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent a fire from spreading from an excitation coil to speed reduction gears, by enclosing the coil and a rotor by a first and a second magnetic pole plates and placing the gears on the second pole plate.
CONSTITUTION: A rotor 10 made of a permanent magnet is supported in a hole 15d surrounded by magnetic poles cut and set up from the bottom 2 of a first pole plate 1 of steel and a flat part 14 of a second pole plate 2 of steel. A bobbin 8 on which a single-phase excitation coil 7 is wound is fixed around the magnetic poles. Speed reduction gears, which are made of synthetic resin and serve to transmit the rotation of the rotor to the outside of reduce the rotational frequency, are mounted on shafts 16∼18 set up on the flat part 14 of the second pole plate 13. The excitation coil 7 and the bobbin 8 are almost enclosed by the side parts 3, 4 and bottom 2 of the first pole plate 1 and the side parts 14a, 14b and flat part 14 of the second pole plate 13 to prevent a possible fire from spreading from the excitation coil 7 to the speed reduction gears.
