Abstract
PURPOSE:To lessen the load of the higher-rank unit as well as to simplify the software structure by installing the interface which controls other lower-rank units by the processor introduced to the lower-rank unit and thus giving the off-line type diagnosis to other lower-rank units. CONSTITUTION:Signal reception distributing devices 20, 21... are connected to the input/output bus of CPU10, and unit 40, for example, among lower-rank units 30 and 40 under the control of those distributing devices incorporates processor 41. Unit 40 possesses information line 55 of the interface same as information line 51 and can be connected to information line 54 via the change-over switch. And line 55 can have the transmission and reception of the same control signal and data as line 51 which distributes the input/output control command given from CPU10 by the control of processor 41. Thus the diagnosis can be given to unit 30 from unit 40 by connecting lines 55 and 54 via the change-over switch when unit has some fault. In this way, the load of the higher-rank unit can be lessened, at the same time realizing simplification for the software structure.
