Abstract

PURPOSE:To expand the operation range of the frequency of a circuit which operates by two-phase clocks, by detecting the rise of the output level of an inversion amplifier up to a fixed level and then by lower this detected level down to an adequate level after a fixed time. CONSTITUTION:Inversion amplifier A outputs 1st clock signal phi to inversion amplifier B which outputs 2nd clock signal -phi and output clocks phi and -phi from amplifiers A and B are supplied to gates of switching transistors 16-19 constituting a shift register. To the output side of amplifier B of this circuit, waveform transformer circuit C is connected; transistor T2 detects the level of output clock -phi of amplifier B, and TrT3 detects the detected level being above a fixed level. This detection output is supplied to input sides of inverters 1-3 and capacitors C2 and C3 constituting a delay circuit, the output of which is applied to amplifier B by way of Trl, thereby decreasing the level of output clock -phi of amplifier B below the fixed value after the fixed time.
