Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a method of installing a foundation pile, which can readily implant the pile by reducing the friction between the pile and soil at its step and reducing negative friction after implanting the pile.
CONSTITUTION: Gas or liquid state air gap layer A is formed on the outer periphery of a pile 1 to substantially shut off the friction between the pile 1 and the soil. Non-solidifying grout is filled at 6 in the air gap layer A to thereby implant the pile 1 to predetermined depth.
