Abstract

PURPOSE: To realize an automatic and continuous measurement for the oil leak amount by collecting the oil leaked from the hydraulic cylinder in a continuous and easy way and then measuring the head pressure continuously while flowing out the collected leak oil through the nozzle provided to the container.
CONSTITUTION: The oil leaking out from hydraulic cylinder 1 is collected continuously into container 13 via filter 12, and then oil 8 collected in container 13 is flowed out through nozzle 14 provided at the lower part of container 13. At the same time, the head pressure of the oil is detected by pressure detector 15, and also the oil temperature is detected by temperature detector 16. After this, the output signals of detectors 15 and 16 are supplied to flow amount arithmetic unit 17 to calculate the leak amount of the oil. This measurement is performed continuously and automatically to detect the increment indication of the oil leak amount. As a result, the sealing deterioration can be known previously in an assured way.
