Abstract

PURPOSE: To absorb shock upon fitting and/or using a pipe for a lance and to protect each parts as well as to contact respective connecting portions of each parts closely and prevent leakage of oxygen gas by connecting a shock absorbing member to a nozzle abutting against the tip portion of a pipe for the lance.
CONSTITUTION: When an oxygen lance device is used, an opening-and-closing valve 9 is closed at first by leaving a lever 15 at free while oxygen gas properly reduced in its pressure is flown through a branch passage 23 by adjusting a reducing valve 24 and is ejected from a tip of a pipe 1 for the lance after being passed through metallic wires 4, then, is ignited to form a flame. Next, the flame is projected against a work to heat it, and after the work is melted, the opening-and-closing vlave 9 is opened by operating the lever 15 and high-pressure oxygen gas is ejected from a tip of an inner tube 3, thereby, boring, cutting or the like of the work may be effected.
