Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable explosion proof transmission by fixing an electric drive member in an closed explosion proof container, supporting a transmission rod oscillatably, and setting the explosion proof gap between the internal surface of a lead-out hole of the container and the rod below a maximum allowable limit.
CONSTITUTION: With an exciter coil 35 energized, the left end of a balance beam 37 is sucked upward with a support leaf spring 38 as a fulcrum, so that the right end of a transmission rod 41 is displaced downward to close a nozzle 44. As a result, the back pressure in the nozzle 44 increases; the back pressure is amplified by a pilot valve 48 and applied as a lifting force to the rod 41 through an actuator 50 and a feedback mechanism 51, to top the movement of the beam 37. The displacement amount of the rod 41 is smaller in a lead-out hole 42 and larger at the portion facing the nozzle 44. Therefore, even if the displacement amount in the hole 42 is so small as not to exceed te maximum allowable limit of an explosion proof gap 43, a sufficient displacement amount is procured at the tip end of the rod 41.
