Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve input and output characteristics of a proportional pressure controlling apparatus, by fitting one end portion of a core to the casing and the other end portion to a spring retainer of yoke fitted in the casing, and providing a guide between the yoke and a plunger.
CONSTITUTION: In order to position seat member 3 and valve 5 concentrically with each other, one end portion of core 2 is fitted at the first joint portion 20 to case 19 in which the entire structure of apparatus is incorporated, and the other end portion of the core 2 is fitted at the third joint portion 22 to a spring retainer 9 which is in turn press fitted to case 19 at the second joint portion 21, whereby it is prevented that offsetting is caused between the case 19 and core 2. Further, between plunger 4 and yoke 10, there is provided a plunger guide 23 for guiding movement of plunger 4 and also for keeping clearance between the plunger 4 and yoke 10 constant. With such an arrangement, it is prevented that offsetting is caused between valve 5 and seat member 3, so that input and output characteristics of the control apparatus can be improved.
