Abstract

PURPOSE: To accurately and simply conduct the measurement of an allowable work amount of a motor with brake by detecting the temperatures at various points of the motor by thermocouples and controlling the motor by calculating the temperatures by a computer to become maximum allowable frequency.
CONSTITUTION: Electromagnetic switches 5, 6 are switched on and off at suitable frequency by a timer circuit 7 set in advance at its time to thereby drive a motor 1 with brake. When the temperautre of a brake coil 1b attached with a thermocouple becomes higher than allowable value T2, the frequence of on and off operation of the switches by the timer circuit 7, while when the temperature of a motor coil 1a attached with a thermocouple 10 becomes higher than allowable value T1, a power supply 4 is energized in the same frequency as that of a power supply 3. And, the voltage is raised to drive an induction motor 2. Thus, a computer obtains the frequency of the retention of the allowable temperatures T1, T2 to thereby calculate the allowable work amount.
