Abstract

PURPOSE: To raise the yield of a material and improve the tightly fitting property to a shaft, by punching two core sheets out of one strip, winding the core sheets to form a helical core, compressing the core in the axial direction and expanding punched notches of the tooth parts of the core sheets to form magnetic pole parts.
CONSTITUTION: Two core sheets are punched out of one strip 1 so that comb-like teeth 2c are opposedly and alternately juxtaposed. At the same time, notches 1a and tooth tip notches 1b are also punched. The core sheets are helically wound in such a direction that the notches 1a are closed. The helically wound core is compressed in the radial direction by a press tool 7 having a projection 7a so that a shaft hole 8 is adjusted to an optional size. The bottoms of slots 2b are fixed by welding or the like. The tooth tip notches 1b are expanded so that T-shaped magnetic pole parts 9 are provided. As a result, under this constitution, the yield of the material is raised and the core can be combined with a shaft of optional diameter.
