Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide hear recovery tube having good flexbility and adhesion and useful for coating inner surface of pipe by setting a corrugated tube of bridged structure resin in a pipe and expanding by heat and removing corrugate. CONSTITUTION:Thermoplastic resin 1 such as polyethylene is extruded by a tube extruder 2 and then cooled in a water tank 3. Then electron beam is applied by an electron beam irradiator 4 to get bridged heat recovery resin 5. The resin is heated to approx softening temperature in a heat furnace 7 and rolled between pinch-rollers 6, 9. Then, it is corrugated by a corrugate forming device 8 and its outer circumference is coated with adhesive agent by heat-melting adhesive sprayer 10 and get the required heat reacitve tube 11 by a winch 12. Then it is expanded by heat to remove corrugate and expanded for coating inner surface of pipe and the like to get tube 1'.
