Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure an automatic time correction by having a comparison between the reference time signal detected from the ''117'' time signal service signal and the time signal given from the watch to indicate the time and then using the gain or loss signal according to the error time. CONSTITUTION:The time serivce signal obtained from the public telephone circuit is set to the level within the fixed range via level adjustment circuit 2 in order to detect second tone (a), forecast tone (b) and time signal tone (c) each. Based on the logic product of these detection tones, reference time detection circuit 6 detects the reference time signals every 30 seconds. Compared time detection circuit 7 supplies the time signal sent from counter 13 of the watch to detect the compared time signals every 00 second and 30 seconds. These detection signals are applied to error detection circuit 8 for comparison to decide the gain or loss of the watch, and the gain or loss signal is delivered from addition/subtraction counter circuit 9 in accordance with the error time. With this gain or loss signal the counting speed of counter 13 is controlled continuously to perform the continuous correction for the time.
