Abstract
PURPOSE: To operate the system to safety mode under automatic control of combustion amout which actuates in accordance with the load by regulating the opening of damper located at the combustion air passage based upon the electronic signals being supplied from outside.
CONSTITUTION: By making the operation switch 28 at ON status, initial amount of feeding air is lessened during a specified length of time making a balance with the amount of fuel evaporation. However, when the burner temp. is heightened and the combustion status allows to accept full feeding of combustion air, there occurs no trouble when the air amount to be fed reaches its maximum to correspond with the maximum input. The above control is carried out by changing the opening of the damper 18 being actuated by the signal outputted by the converter 30. When the operation switch 28 or the trembler type extinguishing switches 28, 29 are made at OFF status, fuel sump 8 may be emptied, however, because the burner-head 7 still contains fuel and the combustion continues. At this moment, damper control signal which makes its input at the maximum is outputted from the converter 30 with priority ahead of the temp. setting signal, to the controller 27 and the combustion is discontinued perfectly within a short period of time.
