Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent abnormal combustion of fuel during putting out process or even when igniting right after putting out by restricting the amount of liquid fuel being impregnated in the carburetting element by covering the lower half portion of the carburetting element with a masking member.
CONSTITUTION: The lower half portion of the carburetting element which is consisted of heat insulating and porous material is covered with, (a) the masking member 3 being coated with an oil-resistant and non-permeable material, or (b) the box body 28 provided with fuel feeding ports 29. By this constitution, fuel absorbing capacity of the carburetting element is restricted within 1W3 times of the rated carburetion amount and fuel feeding is performed under this condition. Because the amount of fuel being fed to the carburetting element is restricted, those phenomena including explosion to be caused by an abnormal loverload, long standing flames, generation of soot and such a harmful exhaust gas as CO is prevented together with the rise of temp. of the whole apparatus regardless of the high temp. of the carburetting element 1 and the main body of the burner 14 being heated during combustion. Accordingly, stabled operations of re-starting and re-igniting are ensured under any condition.
