Abstract

PURPOSE: To simply clean an immesion type detector without pulling up the detecting unit thereof by turning the detector used by immersing in liquid flowing the detecting unit such as a loading type flowmeter around an axis perpendicularly crossed with the direction of flow.
CONSTITUTION: Bolts of a mounting flange 3 are loosened to turn a detector 4 at 180° around its axis to thereby alter the detecting unit 4a at the face directing against the flow thereof so as to flow out an article 7 such as hair adhered to the unit 4a and to cause adhered article 8 to be exposed with the portion where faster at the upstream side and to be thus removed by the flow. In addition, a supersonic vibrator 9 is mounted at proper position of the detector 4 to excite it at cleaning time to thereby produce air bubbles in the vicinity of the unit 4a. Thus, cleaning effect can be further enhanced.
