CONSTITUTION: Uranium adsorbing magnetic fixed bed 1 is divided into magnetic thin wire packed part 1a of large capacity and magnetic thin wire packed part 1b of small capacity, and parts 1a, 1b are provided with external magnetic field generating electromagnetic coils 1c, 1d. Sea water is passed through bed 1 with sea water pump 2. An uranium adsorbent such as ferrite or magnetite is bound by the thin wire packing such as steel wire or wire netting in bed 1 magnetized with coils 1c, 1d.
