Abstract
PURPOSE: To keep up proper and stable drive in spite of fluctuation in the capacity of a compressor by controlling constantly proper refrigerant circulating rate in response to the differential pressure between the influent port side and effluent port side in the main body of a valve.
CONSTITUTION: Refrigerant under high pressure which flows out of a condenser 4 passes through an influent port 2 by way of a narrow passage 8 and a bore 9, runs between a valve bore 14 and a boss part 16 to an effluent port 3, and flows into a evaporator 5. When PH1 comes down by fluctuation in the capacity of a compressor 6 from the condition as shown in the figure while PH2 comes down, a valve body 11 displaces to the right as shown in the figure, the valve bore 14 is throttled, circulating rate of regrigerant reduces, and PL1 comes down. Thus, the circulating rate of refrigerant is controlled to be able to be adapted to it by the differential pressure betweem PH1 and PH2. On the other hand, when PH1 grows to more than a settled value, the valve body 11 displaces to the left in a large way, an expanded part 17 displaces incorporatively with the valve body 11, which penetrate into the valve bore 14, and superfluous circulation of refrigerant is restrained.
