Abstract

PURPOSE: To scatter water drops sticking to a back mirror, by forcibly blowing air flow which is produced while an automobile is traveling foreward against the mirror face through a duct fitted in front of the mirror.
CONSTITUTION: A back mirror fitted to an automobile body by means of an arm 5 has a duct inlet 1 in the front. Wind 6 introduced through the inlet 1 while the automobile is traveling is blown against the mirror face 3 through an outlet 2 to blow off rain drops sticking to face 3. At the same time, it forms an air curtain on the mirror face to prevent water drops from sticking, which provides good visibility.
