Abstract

The cowl has a body divided in two by a horizontal internal partition and having a central opening in which the suction fan is installed. The body has a top front opening (4), and two other openings with horizontal and vertical axes at the rear end. The fan is enclosed by an endless spiral, pivoting on the body on a vertical axis. The rear opening not in use can be shut off, and there can be a slot, preferably curved, in the top face of the body, to rotate the spiral. When this is done so as to direct the air to the front part of the body, a filtering layer can be provided at the lower part.
