Abstract

PURPOSE: To repidly deal with the sudden inclination of a hull, by forming the horizontal shafts of thrusters so that the shafts can be turned to vertical attitudes, and by generating needed thrust at the thrusters located at necessary positions.
CONSTITUTION: When cargo is loaded or unloaded at the stern in a mother ship, the shafts of four thrustets 3 functioning as side thrusters are changed over to vertical locations from horizontal locations because a hull 1 tilts to the stern side, and water currents are pushed out to lower portions from upper portions by means of the two thrusters 3-2, 3-4 at the stern side, thus upward lifting the hull 1 at the stean side. Water currents are forced out to upper portions from lower portions in a manner opposite to said operation by means of the two thrusters 3-1, 3-3 at the bows side with said lift, thus downward pushing the hull 1, then modifying the hull 1 in the direction that the hull becomes to a horizontal level.
