Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent cigarette smoke from filling in door and efficiently scavenge the smoke by maintaining introduction of external air from when an automotive ash tray is drawn to lapse of predetermined time and then switching it to circulation of internal air. CONSTITUTION:When an automotive air conditioner duct 1 is switched at inner and outer air switching damper 2, it suitably introduces external and internal air through inner and outer air intake ports 1a and 1b via a blower motor 3 through an evaporator 4 and a heater core 5 into an automotive room 7. There are provided a room temperature sensor 8, air mixing damper 6 opening sensor 9, external air temperature sensor 10 as detecting means, ash tray sensor 12 for detecting the draw-out of the ash tray. Thus, when the sensor 12 produces an ash tray draw- out signal, an instruction for introducing external air into the room is generated from a microcomputer 15, which then generates an instruction for introducing internal air upon lapse of predetermined time after the ash tray is drawn out.
