Abstract

PURPOSE: To ensure the steady oscillation with the natural minimum frequency even with use of the piezoelectric element featuring several natural frequencies by installing the piezoelectric element connected in parallel to the phase advancer circuit.
CONSTITUTION: The phase advancer circuit consisting of resistance R3 and capacitor C2 is connected in parallel to piezoelectric element 6 to form the phase advance feedback circuit. The value of R3 and C2 are set so that the oscillation may be given to the oscillation frequency with the value approximate to the minimum natural frequency of element 6 when element 6 is removed. The impedance of the serial circuit of R3 and C2 is set near the minimum natural frequency to the level sufficiently larger than the impedance of the resonance point of element 6 and smaller than the impedance at the antiresonance point. Furthermore the impedance of the same serial circuit is set not to be so much larger than the impedance at the higher-order resonance point of element 6. As a result, the oscillation can always be steady at the minimum natural frequency.
