Abstract
PURPOSE:To effectively stir stored petroleum, by equipping plural jetting nozzles at the base of tank and providing branching plate just under the opening of the above nozzle and also, placing the gas mixer in the duct. CONSTITUTION:The petroleum 22 in the tank is sucked from the suction pipe 9 by the discharge pump 6 and is pressurized and then, is introduced into the gas mixer 15 through the delivery pipe 10. Then, the above petroleum is mixed with the gas from the gas reservoir 5 and the above mixture is jetted toward the tank base from each jetting nozzle 19 through the discharge pipe 18. The petroleum containing the gas bubbles 23, is dispersed around by the branching plate 20 of the tank base and the petroleum at the lowest part of the tank is stirred forcibly by moving pressure. Also, the whole petroleum in the tank is stirred accompanied by the rising movement of petroleum made light specific gravity by mixing with the bubbles 23. The bubbles 23 are separated from risen petroleum again and is maintained in the upper part until the bubbles are collected in the reservoir 5 and then, sedimentation of sludge is disturbed.
