Abstract

This results in that the overcurrent in the elements changes in reverse proportion to the size of the gap 42 between the blade tip end and an ink source roller 20. The current change signal is displayed on a display unit 40 in terms of ink layer thickness or the like numerical value through the functions of an amplification circuit 34, correction circuit 36, and nemerical value conversion circuit 38. With an ink deposition amount distribution suitable for the printing pattern preset by use of proofs or the like, instructions are fed from a control circuit 44 to the screws 26 through an adequate transmission mechanism, so as to enable proper feeding of the ink.
