Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare a resin composition which can be photo-polymerized in the presence of a proper photo-sensitizer to a uniform film, by reacting 1,2-polybutadienediol with acrylic acid, methacrylic acid or their derivative.
CONSTITUTION: A composition obtained by reacting (A) 1,2-polybutadienediol having an arbitrary molecular weight, with (B) acrylic acid, methacrylic acid or their derivative of formula CH2=CR1COR2 (R1 is H or methyl; R2 is halogen, OH or alkoxy), in the presence of (C) a polymerization inhibitor such as hydroquinone. The reaction is carried out optionally in the presence of an acid catalyst such as p-toluenesulfonic acid, an amine catalyst such as triethylamine, or an inert solvent such as toluene to proceed the reaction smoothly.
