Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure a highly efficient transmission for the information of several channels through one unit of the transmission device by giving the PSK modulation to several carriers of different phases via the spectrum diffusion codes and them compounding these carriers for transmission. CONSTITUTION:The output of carrier generator 16 is branched through branching circuit 25, and the phase is shifted by shifter 26 for one of the carriers. The double- phase PSK modulation is given to each carrier at primary modulation parts 31 and 32 and via the independent information given from input terminals 11 and 12, and furthermore the secondary modulation is given at secondary modulation part 41 and 42 via different codes generated from diffusion code generation parts 51 and 52. These modulated carriers are compounded at compounding circuit 27 to be transmitted through amplifier 28. Thus in case the communication is carried out for independent n channels via one unit of the transmission device, no modification is required at all just by preparing the primary and secondary modulation parts in the amount equivalent to n channels.
